Have you ever watched youtube cat-videos? or maybe TV commercial? or maybe your friend just sent you another e-mail with some links to cat-videos? Nevertheless one way or the other you watched some of those videos, right?

Insurance companies, banks, mobile companies and many more are using cats in their marketing campaigns. Why? Why cats are so popular? I don’t but I know that a lot of people are wiling to spend 0:30sec of their time to just watch another cat-video 😉
This viral clip (below) is created by Ad agency John St was created as a parody but you never know if somewhere there one of that kind of agencies might exist 🙂
I guess we can laugh for a while about that idea but lets just stop for a minute. Somehow people like to watch cat videos, so why not to implement that idea and create some content (some ad, viral clip, etc.) with cats as main character?

It seems that instead of spending a lot of money on hiring a movie/sport star to your new TV-commercial, you can always “hire” few cats and create a great viral clip 🙂
