How You Can Bring Facebook “Like” in a Real World – Renault

At TNW Europe you can read an article about Renault new campaign – Renault brings Facebook ‘Likes’ to real life during the AutoRAI Amsterdam Motorshow in the Netherlands. Renault figured out how to keep audience attention by providing people with RFID smartcards – which allowed visitors connect them to their Facebook profiles. Doing that they activate their cards and were able to ‘Like’ every Renault car the really like by swiping ‘Like’ card against a reader.

You can check video how it worked:

update /May 15/
Hyundai did the same during AutoRai 2011 in Amsterdam. By including social media at their stand at the biggest automotive event of the Netherlands. By easily connecting a special RFID tag to their Facebook account, Hyundai visitors were able to instantly share their favorite cats cars with their Facebook friends.
