How to Create Buzz Keywords Cloud?

tagcloudWhen you are looking for a job have you ever wonder how Human Resource department is looking at your resume?
Have you ever thought what keywords are you using in your resume?
or maybe you want to know what kind of ‘word cloud‘ you can create based on your text?

no?

it’s good time to look at your resume the same way recruiters and Human Resource department is looking. Use web-based, free application – wordle.
At the wordle site I found that it’s:

wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like. You can print them out, or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with your friends.

Be careful with share the cloud online directly from wordle site – it’s better to be make sure where exactly you publish your ‘word cloud’.

How it looks like? Here it’s my example:
klaudia I. Jurewicz_buzz words cloud_v6 you can chose different colors: klaudia I. Jurewicz_buzz words cloud_v4 or shape: klaudia I. Jurewicz_buzz words cloud_v2

this simple application can help you to modify your content if you wonder what kind of keywords are the best, and many of them you used in your text.

enjoy testing wordle.

update: after few weeks I did a little bit of search again and found few more tagcloud (web-based) application:

  • word it out –> “An attractive arrangement of randomly positioned words, where the most important words are bigger than the others.”
  • VocabGrabber –> analyzes any text you’re interested in, generating lists of the most useful vocabulary words and showing you how those words are used in context.
  • Tagxedo –> turns words (e.g. speeches, articles, etc. into a visually word cloud, words individually sized appropriately to highlight the frequencies of occurrence within the body of text
  • TagCrowd –> simple application but allows you to eliminate some words from the tagcloud, set the limit of words, etc.
  • ImageChef –> not only tagcloud (word mosaic) but also few other option you find useful (photo editor – frames, etc.)
