How many social media applications/platform are you using?
ohhh…do you have problems to count all of them? Let me guess, some of those applications you are using on your mobile, some on your computer.

Lets think how many (really) social media applications/platforms we can use and be up-to-date:
- Google –> google docs, google reader, gmail, google voice, google search, Picasa, google maps, etc. – covers a lot of our needs
- Facebook –> instant communication, sharing photos, status updates, videos, etc.
- Twitter –> another way of text messages, great for networking, etc.
- Linkedin –> network application for professionals

- how many applications do you really need?
- haw many applications do you have but didn’t use for last few weeks?

With all the chatter that is going on over Google, I may have to check it out. People keep sending me invitations, telling me that they love, they think it will replace fb, it cannot be ignored, etc. Klaudia, have you “played” with it at all?

Recently I started testing Google+ and I think I’m one of those who are not that crazy (yet) about that product. I am not sure whether Google+ replace Facebook. Facebook is making some changes as well (just saying) – e.g. collaboration with skype.

I think that focusing your efforts, instead of being spread thin across so many areas, gets more results. My current focus is your Big Trio and I’m working my way around Google+. I like to play with all new toys, but if they don’t add real value beyond my base, then I don’t adopt them into my daily routine. Oh… and I would add Google Reader. Not really social, but I can’t live without it.
ohh and Google Reader – wow! I love it, thanks to that tiny app I can save so much time every day. Thank you Google 🙂

Testing new social media tools is great. Of course we love it, we are sharing information and publishing reviews – that’s great …but at the end of the day we have our favorites apps and that’s it 🙂
Google+ (so far) it’s another version of Facebook…but maybe there is something I didn’t test yet so I don’t know.
In my opinion one of the important factors of every application is usability/user-friendly.
